Description: The Lake George Steamboat Company, incorporated in 1817, has been operating steamboats on Lake George for over 200 years. Choose from any of our three ships: The Minne-Ha-Ha, the Mohican or the Lac du Saint Sacrement. Daily one-hour cruises, a pirate themed adventure cruise and cruise + dockside musical events on select Saturday evenings are offered aboard the Minne Ha Ha. The Mohican, sailing since 1908, is the oldest operating vessel on the inland waters of New York State. Go for a Full Lake Cruise on summer Tuesdays. The other days offer Paradise Bay, Island Exploration and Family Dinner Cruises. The Lac du Saint Sacrement, the largest of our fleet, offers Lunch, Brunch, Dinner and Sightseeing Cruises. Enjoy a meal, beautiful scenery and a combination of entertainment and narration during your cruise. Sailing lighter schedules in the Spring and Fall and a full schedule from mid-June through Labor Day, the Lake George Steamboat Company is sure to have the right trip for you!

We sailed on the Lake George dinner cruise last week on the Lac du Saint Sacrement. Purchase of tickets was easy, with several reservationists available. We boarded about 45 minuts prior to departure and were surprised to learn that the dinner buffet was already going. We mistakenly thought dinner would start after departure. Our table was a table for two, with a superb view, linen tablecloth and nice silverware, in the rear of the second deck. A waiter took our drink orders and after about ten minutes he arrived with our drinks, then we went down the stairs to the buffet. The salad bar was very good, and I enjoyed the potato salad, but the rest of the buffet was mediocre. The chicken was OK, and I wasn't interested in the fish. The roast beef was tasty but tough. All in all we had enough to eat, but nothing memorable. The two hour cruise was great. The boat goes all the way to The Sagamore, and we had a good view of it. Return to the dock was nice and we arrived on time. This was a fun trip that everyone should try. The one area that needs improvement is the bar service. We saw only one bartender on duty, who has to serve guests walking up to the cocktail bar as well as all of the wait staff. Very slow, and it must cost them business.

We went on the Saint Sacrament for the prime rib buffet dinner cruise. The staff and sight seeing was great, but the food not so much. I would recommend the sight seeing, but not the dinner.

Went on the Mohican for their islands tour. We really enjoyed sitting on the side that was shaded
For half of the trip.
They need to have a forward speaker so that people in the front of the boat can hear the guide.
Staff engineers and captain were very friendly and helpful.
They run Spring summer and fall.
We chose the 2&1/2 hour tour which was the right amount of time.
Wear a hat if you don't like too much sun. Drinks are available I think food is too. Nice trip.
They were kind enough to point out bald eagles in the trees, which I'm happy to see returning.
