I picked this hotel mostly because of Expedia's awarding of 2.5 stars to it and because it was twenty or thirty dollars cheaper than other options in the area. Regrettably, I pre-paid $85, including tax, for it. The place was worth about $50. The room was shabby (but clean), there was no in-room coffee, and the lobby and its promised continental breakfast was not open at 7:00AM when we had to leave. It seems as if the proprietors are trying to run the place as inexpensively as possible and are not concerned about cultivating repeat business.
