The place is beautiful with easy access to the center but it needs more renovation and care. The rooms are OK. The swimming pools need more maintain and the large one with Jacuzzi was with cold water. The playground for the kids is huge and the place is more adapted to Family travel.

Room Tip: If you like to have more space take a suit! Other rooms are smaller and some of them darker

Hotel el Relox is a terrible place to stay. Every single of their services is a money trap. While it is ok for services like massages and spa to cost aditional to the room fee, its terrible that the billiard and minigames in the bar to have a cost PER HOUR. The hotel promised 4 pools around the hotel when in reality are only two, one of them out of order in holidays.

Room Tip: Don't ask for the suites, they are not worth the price.

Only a two hour drive from our home in San Miguel de Allende The Relox is the perfect weekend getaway. Free parking on the grounds. Free internet. Five minute walk to the square.

There was a light out our suite so they gave us an upgrade to the Penthouse. We were speech less to say the least.

Great grounds, great Spanish speaking staff and located in the heart of Tequisquiapan which took my wive and me a week to learn how to pronounce the name of the city.

Lots of really great restaurants, hotels and taxis are 25 pesos anywhere in the city.
We will be back to the Relox.

Room Tip: I asked for a tor before I checked in for a few dollars paid for an upgrade from a double to a suite.

We spent a nice day at the swimming pool and tequisquiapan downtown. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear every time someone gets into their rooms. This time, there was people coming back from party between 4.30 am until 6.30, you can imagine the kind of night spent with my husband and 2 little kids, not relaxing at all, as it would be expected on a weekend getaway...

I ve know this hotel since I was a little girl, just went back, Wow what a flash back.
Dont think you are going to a luxury hotel, its rustic charm is vintage mexican style.
But you are in for a great time. Thermal pools, Tennis. Beautiful gardens,
A short walk to the beautiful colonial town, the market just down the street, you feel like you are back in time! The weathe is amazing feels like Spring all year long!
But I saved the best for last The food! You ever been to grandmas for a great meal?
Well it is not a Restaurant, it is grandmas kitchen! Every meal is freshley prepared and everything is delicious! Try surf and turf arrachera y camarones, guacamole, salsa molcajeteada, WOOOOOWW!
The service is family around you! Dont miss out on this experience!
Great place for conventions, weddings, or just family cultural fun!
