We stayed two nights at this lodge and enjoyed our stay very much. Everywhere including our rooms was very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The setting is awesome and we highly recommend the sundowner trip which was a wonderful experience. Nobody else had booked so we we had a guide and transport all to ourselves. Excellent!

We, family with 10 year old child had an excellent time here. Although we stayed just 3 nights, we would have liked to stay longer and this place. Service and food was great, room very nicely decorated, two swimming pools which we hardly used and a very relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. The drive to Sossusvlei is about 45 Minutes, so be prepared to leave early. Definitely recommend the sun downer, very relaxing and amazing seeing the sun come down and the moon in it´s full pride! We will come back to this place, Thank you Namib Dessert Lodge staff to make our stay unforgettable.

Good food, excellent service. Comfortable, clean, air-conditioned rooms, with views over the desert from the verandas. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Functional wi-fi. Definitely worth a visit.

The resort is still close enough for a day trip to Sossusvlei, and a little bit closer to Swakopmund if you need to travel that terrible road. Make sure you get up early to watch the first light hit the petrified dunes as the colours are magic. Everything is just great with immaculate gardens, a lovely room and friendly staff.

We camped here for two nights. Upon arrival at the gate you get directed to the lodge which is situated at a beautiful spot. I should mention that we did not stay in the lodge but camped at their camp ground. After checking in we were direct back to the main gate - a 10km round trip - only to find that we had to go through a workers camp and stayed right next to this noisy lot. The sites did not inspire. The word are lacklustre . The bathroom were beautifully clean and cannot be faulted but the camp site should be avoided. It is noisy because it is close to the main road. Braai stands were not cleaned and the light fitting at the sites did not work. I think that Gondwana should take note and hold someone responsible for the poor service of this camp site.
