“A slice of heaven!”
Reviewed 29 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

My husband, dog and close friend just spent the weekend at this property and were overwhelmed with the spectacular beauty. The inside of the home was immaculate and very welcoming but the outside was SPECTACULAR. We live in NYC so to experience so much beauty was overwhelming.. Our dog ran into the river-SERIOUSLY your backyard is the river!! Coffee on the patio, there is no better way to say it than this place is a slice of heaven and we cannot wait to go back!!!!

“Tranquil Retreat”
Reviewed 24 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

I reached out to several locations near the Delaware River at the same time when searching for a place to spend 4 days fishing with my family. Diana was the first to respond but was also so personable off the bat that any hesitation I had about using Flip Key for the first time ever was erased immediately. There was an instant friendly connection and I knew I found the place for our short trip. Diana was always reachable and questions are answered right away, that is to say the few questions I had- she was excellent in providing all the info needed early on.
So the trip was booked and we hit the road and upon arrival we all felt the same: we never wanted to leave. An IDEAL spot for trout fishing in the West Branch, my brother never left the river. All he had to do was wake up, walk down the steps, and cast his line. It was amazing waking up in the fog, sipping coffee on the deck, listening to the birds start their day with the sound of the river flowing right in front. I wish I could start every day that way (one day :). For anyone looking for a place to stay during a fishing trip, this is it. Not only can you just cast from the back of the house, the town of Hancock has several bait and gear shops within a 5min drive from the cabin, as well as canoe and kayak rentals, guided fishing tours, restaurants and convenience stores. If you drive down along 17 East, you can find campsites nearby with lakes and ponds to fish in during the day as well if you want a change of scenery- you can also take a 45min drive to Roscoe and Calicoon from this location, other small towns to fish, dine, and shop. We took a 40min drive into Binghamton to Apple Hill Farms where you can pick your own apples, and assorted berries and other fun activities. For anyone looking for a convenient place to stay, this is it. The cabin is in a perfect location with so much to do nearby, but really with the river and a cozy fire pit right at your feet- you just may not care about anything else.
The cabin is super clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The last house on a dead end road, it's super private. Stocked kitchen with appliances and the like, fresh linens and towels, you'll feel right at home upon stepping foot. Truly a great getaway.
Thank you Diana for accommodating our family, I look forward to spending more time at the cabin in the future. Cheers!

Located on the river the only bad side you don't have much privacy as, people cross to fishing or canoe.
We enjoyed the fire pit by the river and the mornings on the deck with a beautiful view of the river
Diane was great and very helpful .

Love the house.. Diane was excellent.. Such a wonderful mini vacation. Can't wait to stay again. The location was wonderful and the town had a few stores, but everything you would need for a short stay.

It was a last minute trip. We didnt plan at all and went based solely on reviews and the photos. Big fan of the FlipKey site! The place was exactly as billed. It might be the perfect spot for a cabin. Incredible piece of river right behind the house. We fished, BBQ'd, and relaxed. It was very secluded, but close to town if you needed anything. We didnt interact with another person the whole weekend, which was exactly what we wanted. We didnt even interact with the owner. Just a phone call the day before for the little details. The owner is VERY nice and has the place all set, you need nothing! Cant wait to go back. Thanks Diana.
