My wife and I went out to Deep Water looking to grab a couple of drinks. Upon our arrival most of the bar area was filled and we asked the waitress Emily if we could grab a table even though we would probably just be having a couple drinks. Emily recommended a couple of drinks that were very good. Shortly after we got there a band started playing and they were excellent. All different types of music from country to pop. During the evening the owner Beth stopped by to check on everything and make sure we were having a good time. Can't wait to make it back to Deepwater Bar and Grill next time we're in the area.

OMG.....Shrimp and fries cooked in dirty old oil. Waitress advised that the shrimp which was blackened and was burnt was actually rolled in dark breadcrumbs. Oh behave !!! It was ridiculously overcooked and was inedible. Wonky plastic top table. The place looked pretty grubby unless they were going for the pickle on the floor underneath the table as being part of the look or maybe it was placed there to stop the table from rocking....Who knows. We were there with locals and yes we are British but to hear the Manager make a snide comment about ..."I thought August was over". Indicating her thoughts on tourists just goes to show that her business head is somewhere in the clouds. Would not recommend this place to any Tourists at all !!!

This is a bar restaurant but the food was really good. The service was great and friendly. Our party had the fried scallops, the fried shrimp, and the duck. They were all delicious and a plus was that, as New Englanders, it was a pleasant surprise to be able to watch the Patriots game!

Great chowder, great fish. A don’t miss if you’re in the Greenport area. Even the carrot cake is not to be skipped.

We arrived on a Monday night and the top level restaurant overlooking the marina was sparsely filled. We ordered the clams on the half shell and stacked eggplant for appetizers...both were good. We ordered 2 lobster tacos entrees for our main meal. The lobster tacos order came with two tacos each and French fries. Before ordering I asked our waitress if the tacos were filled with lobster and I was told yes. The tacos arrived and each taco was barely half filled and not a large portion. There was more taco than lobster. The filling wasnt even all lobster but a mix of red cabbage and lobster. Very disappointed that they were skimpy with the lobster. The lobster did not have any taste. They didn't even fill the plate with French fries they skimped on them too...and potatoes are not expensive. I have had better lobster rolls elsewhere. Deep Water charged $25.00 each for two half filled tasteless lobster tacos entrees. Save your money don't order the lobster tacos. I rated them poor because of the of the portion size and tasteless lobster. If you decide to go here, order the eggplant stack as an appetizer and then go elsewhere for dinner. The lobster tacos were a rip off.
