Our hotel arranged for us to go here for sunset dinner. Wonderful views and lovely food. The dinner consisted of a mixture of dishes served to your table of fried fish sticks, vegetable curry, smoked fish salad, honeyed chicken drumsticks, rice, fried plantain, lentils and grilled fish, followed by fried bananas and ice cream for dessert for 500 rupees. We also had very nice rum based "sunset" cocktail. All in all a very good experience and would recommend.

this is a must do if you are at la digue ,

its up a hill and the climb is steap . so there is a pick up mini van which will pick you up from where ever you stay and will take you up there for a sunset dinner and drop you back once done along with the other guest , the price of the dinner is inclusive of pick up and drop minus the drinks .

the view is fantastic , can start off with a drink , followed by the dishes which is a fixed menu . fantastic creole food . we got a whole fish , a chicken dry preparation , lentil , pickles , a vegetable curry and dessert to end the meal .

the drink was custom made as per my requirement which was fresh passion fruit with takamaka . that was fantastic too

brilliant service too

a must must if at la digue

We booked the sunset dinner. Although we were slightly unfortunate and the weather was not in our favor as it started raining 30 minutes after we arrived there, the experience was still a really nice one.
The price for the dinner was 500 Seychelles Rupees per person (drinks not included) but there was a lot of food (a number of dishes) and they were all very tasty. The best traditional food we had in Seychelles. Would do it again if we return.

Don't walk to the restaurant!!! - at least not if you go for the sunset dinner. You can give it a go during the day (leave your bicycles at the start of the climb as the slope is very high) as near the restaurant there's a small path; you do around 15 mins of walking through the forest and you reach a high point where you can see the sea on both sides of the island at the same time.
For the sunset dinner you need to make sure that you are picked up and dropped off to your hotel. As it gets dark really fast I would not recommend walking back from the restaurant.

Bellevue is a nice little place that serves Creole food. The taxi came and collected us around 5.15 to the restaurant. There is no menu, staffs would come and ask whether or not you have any food allergies.
The food we got was honey chicken, smoked fish salad, vegetable curry, grilled fish(whole), lentils, rice, fried battered fish and something else that I forgot the name. Food was great ! Staffs were very friendly. Highly recommend !

It is not far to walk here if you look at a map. The problem is elevation. As two people in their early thirties that runs 5k/10k weekly and consider themselves fairly fit people it was not easy getting here in the early afternoon. We went through a liter of water each and had to stop and pause several times. the incline is past 40° in places and the temperature/humidity really gets to you.
When we arrived the lunch was done and dinner had not started so we got a glass of juice each and then went on our way back down. The view was nice though.
All this could be blamed on bad planning on our part (there are apparently a pick-up/drop-off service for dinner) but the cockroaches that scurried around the place lowers the score quite a bit for us.
