We have spent a good deal of time in this area although we actually live in Erie, but regardless, we know our way around these parts fairly well. Oddly, we have been to other eateries in this area, but this was our first time here.
When you turn off Baily Hill Road, you can't quite make the place out, but as you get closer, you can see this is a very nice place. It's not small and it is all made from rough cut, but finished timber and it is very well done. It's decorated like a hunting lodge and the theme carries through from front to back, where they have a round gas fireplace burning outside.
The fare is tavern food and the choices range from burgers to steaks and there are local beer selections also. We had the wings (medium) and fries and they were good. Not exceptional, but served quickly and hot. Our server was Halie (sp?) and she was very good and always checked on us. It is located basically on a snow mobile trail and maybe seven miles or so from Peak 'n' Peek resort.
