When we were looking for a place to eat, we found the 96 Grill & Lounge and it offered Cajun & Creole cuisine. When we arrived, we found that 96 Grill & Lounge has been closed for some time. There is no website and the phone number has been disconnected.

Food is awesome especially the burgers along with the home made chips. People are friendly and helpful.

This restaurant could be really good if they had better service. The wait for food and drinks is entirely too long. My sons dinner was forgotten and not brought out until we had finished eating. The food on the original menu was delicious. They have since changed their menu to things you can get anywhere else. If they want to survive as a restaurant they need to hire some good help first.

At least not on this Sunday afternoon. Perhaps the Southern chef missed the gators and left town, but there was nothing Southern on this menu. So we had quarter pound burgers soggy with hot sauce, banana peppers stuffed with cream cheese, chicken fingers that were dry and overcooked, a BLT wrap that included bacon fresh from thr refrigerator and a junker plate that was truly junk. Each menu item was just shy of $10 each. The ceiling had a huge missing tile from, I expect, water damage, since many of the tiles were stained. There was a note on the blackboard saying a new menu would appear Wednesday. Sadly it did not say whether the graduate chef from burger king would also be replaced. The server-bartender was pleasant enough to raise this rating all the way to poor.
