The brunch itself was very good. The people working there, not so good! First we arrived and asked for a table outside, they said there was a 20 minute wait, so we ate inside and it was very nice, by the window. The truth was that they were ending brunch soon and did not want to service outside any longer, tell me the truth I'm sitting by the window and watching what's happening.
In case the restaurant has any interest, we had brunch Sunday, August 12th and sat at table 16. We had a young man very polite and obviously a college student...he spent so much time discussing college and post-college questions with other male guests...we were 3 women, so maybe he thought we didn't no much about higher education. RUDE!!!!! I WAS DIEING FOR A REFILL OF MY WATER!!!! He kept apologizing for ignoring him, finally I said OK, but don't keep doing it. When I went to leave there was no one at the hostess station to vent my displeasure, but it was pointed out in the tip.
I'm for NY city so $40.00 for a nice brunch doesn't faze me in the slightest, but the service was terrible. You have a bunch of people running around and telling the next person to get plates, etc...They were too busy setting up for dinner.
