“Truly relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.”
Reviewed 3 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

An excellent holiday in beautiful surroundings. Our daughter loved running around in the garden. The cottage itself is very well equipped as well as being comfortable and homely with fabulous fire places. There is so much to do and see in the local area we were spoilt for choice, a particular favourite of our three year old was a trip to Lyme Regis paddling in the sea. We definitely hope to return.

“Beautiful Cottage in Stunning Location”
Reviewed 5 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

This cottage literally has the best of both worlds - beautifully traditional with some great features (check out the wooden beam by the stairs!) yet all modern conveniences and comfort. Lovely large kitchen that encouraged us to cook a full roast, log fires in both the living room and dining room, great mattresses on the beds (had the best nights sleep in ages) and a shower you could spend all day in if there wasn't so much to do in this part of the world. And if you are looking for some outdoor space with your property, this one has a large front garden and even bigger back garden.

As for the location of this cottage - its stunning. Situated near the top of a hill, it has a magic little path leading up to it and is close to a beautiful small church (and dont worry, we didn't hear any bells the whole stay!). So many great walks in the area and we sampled at least two of the local pubs and in one of them, I had the best pub meal I'd had in ages.

If you want a picture postcard English Cottage stay with all mod cons and a ton of great things to do on your doorstep, I cant recommend this place enough.

“Beautiful cottage in quiet location”
Reviewed 2 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Very well appointed and tastefully decorated cottage in a quiet village just outside of Crewkerne. Plenty of places to eat and explore nearby, with the coast less than half an hour away. Plenty of maps / guidebooks on the shelves should you want to explore. We found the cottage so cosy we ended up lighting the fire and staying in instead of eating out...
