Popular local sandwich place in the middle of the SE Seneca Lake wine trail area. Sandwiches and salads we had were fresh and very tasty. Popular on Friday for lunch. Mostly people ate in, but there were some take out orders too. They have a nice deck and views of the lake. Summer on the deck would be a wonderful meal.

Prices were very reasonable and the staff was super friendly. We'll be going back!

Elf in the Oak is an unassuming little spot that is easy to miss but don't be fooled. They offer great house-made sandwiches and soups at a reasonable price. In warmer weather, they have a great deck overlooking Seneca Lake.

Good variety of sandwiches and salads. Very fresh ingredients. We tried a Ruben, Cuban panini, the Robb salad and the roasted chickpea salad. All were delicious.
All orders are taken at the counter, and served to the table. Wait staff were very friendly and made great suggestions.
We will definitely return!
