We were met at the airstrip by Wien (sp), the ranger who took excellent care of us after we arrived. The accommodation is quaint, very rustic. The shower is outside, with slats on the floor board. Unfortunately we went out on a safari drive and we saw a Black Mamba and another poisonous snake, and there was no way I was going to use the outside shower. Plenty of hot water. Food was top notch. Delicious. The staff was good, but unfortunately, the animals were not being too cooperative. The cats had wandered off to other conservancies so we missed seeing them. We did see 3 different types of owls while out on the night drive, and the excursion to see how the indigenous people live on the land was fantastic, even though I was nervous about seeing a snake.

We had the pleasure of staying a few nights at this exclusive lodge. The owners were fantastic and had a beautiful place. The individual cabins were large and beautifully furnished, hot showers with bathtub.
What I really enjoyed was the tranquility of the place, you could sit next to the pool, or on the deck of the main lodge and observe the wildlife approach the watering hole. The highlight of the trip was the Bushmen Walk, the owner organizes this educational walk with local Bushmen, they explained how they used to live and hunt in the Kalahari. It was very interesting and also nice to hear them speak in their mother tongue. They also take you in open Safari vehicles for game drives. The meals were all beautifully presented and delicious.

This Lodge offers a unique experience. It's situated on a massively large, private game reserve that's been around for over 25 years. It's immediately next to the Kalahari Desert so much drier than the Okavango Delta. There isn't an abundance of animals like you'd find in the Delta but still plenty to see and experience. Our highlights included incredible bird watching, tracking down lions (we saw lions everyday and each time amazing), elephant, serval cats, bull frogs, leopard tortoise, lots of antilope and more. Our guides were super knowledgable and really made our experience. We learned so much about the environment and even more interestingly, learned about the Bushmen culture. Food was delicious, ate kudu every day, (SO delicious), staff very friendly and accommodations very comfortable. Outdoor shower attached to our bathroom was a pretty cool experience.

This was our first stop in Botswana and it couldn't have been better! The food, camaraderie, Guides, rooms and common areas were all lovely! It's in front of a watering hole so we were fortunate to be watching with drinks in our hands as the Giraffes, Wart Hogs and Steenbuck all came for their afternoon drinks. I highly recommend this place! Thanks to Monograms Tours for putting this together. An amazing Company for flawless Independent travel planning.

We'd never been to Africa and didn't know quite what to expect. Braam patiently answered our numerous questions and expertly curated a experience of a lifetime. We had close encounters with lions and giraffes but my favourite experience was the Bushmen cultural tour. We thought it may be a bit corny when we first heard about it but it was riveting.
The friendly and helpful staff catered to our vegetarian diet and provided some excellent meals.
