Roadtrips aside, once in awhile you just have to recharge! Our favorite place to grab that iron, quality burger in the Mountains of New Mexico has so far not been outweighed by any other place! A Dog friendly, kid friendly, clean, comfortable place just north of the city Plaza in Taos, this 'Stand' is what you deserve! Great selection of Beers, TV's inside and even a cool place to play Pool! Light and airy...inside and out; either on picnic tables or other tables just by the convenient parking lot. Easy to find; right across the street from the Post Office. Our favorite the KOBE Burger and/or the Swiss/'Shroom Burger! Grab a Beer during Happy Hours during the week...2-6pm and enjoy Your Mountain Visit, drive and that easy, cool place to Recharge!

Convenient location from our hotel and had good reviews, so we opted to try this for dinner. You order food at the counter and there was no line, so we took a minute to look at the menu. The girl taking our order seemed to be annoyed, so we apologized for our delayed ordering, she just stared at us. The weather was beautiful so we went outside to eat and inadvertently sat between 2 tables of people smoking, outdoor seating so this was just luck, not the restaurant’s fault. Our table happened to be one without ketchup so my husband went back in to ask for ketchup and was told “no, it is on your table”....so he just found some containers and filled them from a table that had ketchup. The food was fine, we spent about $70 for 4 burgers, 2 orders of fries, 2 shakes and 2 drinks. Nothing horrible, just some small things that would keep us from going back for another visit.

Great spot on our first night in town. It was just around the corner from where we stayed. We enjoyed burgers and a seasonal salad (locally sourced). Really tasty. Great staff.

I stopped here because it’s near the Worldmark Taos. The truffle fries were abundant and very tasty. The burger was okay. I’ve had better.

The green chile fries had great heat and even better flavor. The barn house bash is my husbands favorite. I loved the falafel. A great place to eat. We will be back the next time we are in Taos.
