I wanted our 10th Anniversary dinner to be special, and our experience here was perfect. The staff was amazing - "friendly" and "courteous" would be understatements. The food was extraordinary. Our table faced the mountains at sunset. Perfect! Our thanks and gratitude to the staff of this fine restaurant!

The food was delicious and distinctly prepared with New Mexican flavor. All of the dishes we tried had great flavor and a southwest twist. The service was wonderful.

A friendly restaurant, informal atmosphere but refined food where the name meze means small sharing plates in the Middle East and Mediterranean. The food is mainly Mexican with s strong local touch, using local produce. The Chiles used by themselves or in sauces are absolutely delicious. The menu is limited but you can share appetizers as well as main courses. The service is friendly and necessary explanations provided.
It is very unfortunate that the chef owner has decided to retire and hence close the restaurant in late October 2017. So, if you are in the vicinity make sure you catch the last days of this restaurant.

This restaurant was delicious. We had the heirloom tomato salad, the trout and the posole. It is a shame that it is closing next month.

Beautiful late summer dinner on the patio with a great view of the mountains as the sun set.

Two special appetizers / Share dishes were outstanding. 4-5 different Heirloom tomatoes with a very mild goat cheese and local green bean dish were out of this world. The Tamale de Cardenas, pork Tamale in a hatch green chili 'soup' was unique & delicious. Don't miss it. The special peach ice cream dessert was marvelous.

Good selection of beer & wine (no hard liquor). The inside dining looked very nice as well.

Don't miss this restaurant in this historical building when you're in Taos!

Thank Daniel H
