We just got back from Taos and I am still amazed at the La Dona Luz Inn. This is our 7th stay at La Dona Luz. We stayed in the Sonrisa room this time and it was absolutely beautiful. The entire inn looks like a photo layout that one would expect to see in a decorating or history magazine. The hospitality is the best in the world. Paul Castillo and his staff go way beyond in an effort to see to our every need and make us feel at home. The inn is a block away from the old town square. Everything is within walking distance and there are sidewalks so strollers are fine. We only had to use our rental car once and that was to see the Gorge Bridge. Other than that everything we needed or wanted to do was within walking distance. The cost of the room is so low that it does not reflect the majesty of the antiques or artifacts present, the over all decor, the historical aspect of the inn being an important facet in Taos history, or the world class hospitality. We go back to Taos and La Dona Luz inn every year and already I can't wait to go back.More
