Everything about this place is terrific! The location is on a small side street just a stone's throw from the major intersection of 64 and 68, yet it was very quiet. It is a beautifully and funkily renovated traditional house. Our room, La Sonrisa, was exuberantly decorated with folk painting on pretty much every wall surface. There was a kiva and plenty of wood, a comfy canopy bed, a small sofa, TV, a mini-fridge, microwave, DVD player, coffeemaker, iron & ironing board, and even a corkscrew. Good thinking, because there was also a jacuzzi! Breakfast, available between 8:30 and 9:30, included waffles, a good choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and other cereals, bagels, hard boiled eggs, etc. The women who worked in the house were very conscientious. We only saw Paco once; he chatted and gave us good hiking suggestions, but the place seemed to run quite well in his absence. An earlier review complained about parking, but that did not seem to be a problem at all. For what we paid ($89/night), I thought it was a very good deal and would certainly stay there again.
