This was on our list of sights to see on our Rte 66 sojourn. It was a bit hard to locate but well worth the stop. The water is crystal clear. as a result of a major aquifer surfacing in the middle of the dessert. It is not surface fed water, but rather fed by deep underground caves. A very nice maintained park surrounds the tiny lake.We stopped and enjoyed the view. Let the kids loose to unwind. Also area to picnic. There is a beach area, but we did not go swimming. A recommended stop for stretching your legs and breathing in some fresh desert air before heading on down the road.
