it was now my 6th time returning to this intimate camp in just over 3 years and have already a confirmed booking for another 3 times. It is hard to describe why I like the camp and guess it is just the overall experience and a combination of everything that makes this camp so different from others. During my trip last month July did I visit 3 camps and is this camp for some perhaps too average and are some preferring an upscale lodge but for those that 1/ like to sleep in a tented bungalow on stilts in an open bush area 2/ don't mind to sit with 10 in 1 vehicle 3/ Share breakfast, lunch and dinner on one big table with the other guests than is that camp a candidate for your safari.

Just stayed four nights here with my family and didn't want to leave. The treehouses are great and beautifully furnished. The main building is lovely and all the staff make you feel like friends rather than guests. We had Bjorn as our driver/guide and his sense of humour and deep knowledge made the game drives great fun. Our tracker, Isaak, has achieved the status of "legend" with my kids as they loved his witty remarks and relaxed, easy going personality. The game drives themselves were excellent with loads of info and most importantly we saw all the "big 5 " several times and much more. The food is great and portions are big. ps don't challenge Nadja to a game of Jenga, you'll lose.

Beautiful , more than we expected. Never thougt to get that close to the animals. The tracker and guide were super in finding animals. We have seen 'the big five' an elephant was drinking out the pool.
Very glad we have been in ntambo tree camp.

We stayed at nThambo june 12-14 2016. It was fantastic from beginning to end. The camp is quite intimate, only 5 tents on stilts . We were traveling with friends and we had 4 of the 5 tents for the most of 3 days and the night before we left another couple arrived . The staff is top notch, the food 5 star, the game drives with Bjorn and Isaac were great. We did see lots of animals including buffalo, a fleeting leopard , many elephants , rhino, giraffes , many birds , springbok, kudu, wild dogs, and more. It is a very special place I hope I get the chance to visit again some day .

Room Tip: all of the chalets(tents) seemed to be the same

Incredible guiding in a beautiful location. Felt that the guide and tracker were respectful of animals, and yet successful in finding so many incredible animals to see. The highlights- daily walks, wild dog puppies, leopards + cubs, elephants drinking from the pool as we sat on the terrace. It was incredible.
