A very interesting old restored home filled with history of the Roswell area with period pieces and furnishings. A real surprise for us. Make time in your day to visit this quaint museum

We stopped by to see the historic house. It was immaculate. Our guide for the day was the president of the historical society. She had tons of knowledge about the house. It was so neat to walk through all the rooms. They are doing a lot of renovations but it's still worth a look see. It's free to get in but there's a box for donations.

It is only open between one and four I got there at 3:15 today. The docent is a retired schoolteacher. She took me around the downstairs and let me roam the upstairs myself. They are doing major remodeling on the upstairs as they get the money.
The house was built in 1912 and has a lot of the original furnishings nice to see.

This would certainly be a cool house to live in just the way it is. Just beautiful inside and out. If you have mobility issues getting to the second floor will be a problem but there is plenty of beauty on the first level.

This 1912 Home of James P. White, one of the most wealthiest and influential men in that area, is a wonderful example of that era. The home is now a museum that is well-appointed with original and period furnishings throughout. Admission is free and well worth visiting.
