We are from Texas and the meat was so tender on both we could hardly pick it up with a fork! My husband and I shared the 2 meat plate and was just right! I have tried ribs from all over and this is the best. Just wish they were closer than 10 hrs away:). Come to flower mound lewisville area!!! And Briana was the best hostesses and steered us in the right direction! Thanks y'all!

The food here was fantastic and the atmosphere was great as well! The daily specials was very nice to help us plan and the consistent hours was super helpful! Please stay open since dinner options seem to be dwindling!

Really fabulous ribs...this former Texan approves so does the bulldog! Im low carbing so just got half a rack...sauce is more Kansas City style rather than vinegar based but has a nice kick.

Our family has been coming to Red River for several decades and we we're pleased to find this recently opened restaurant. The Smokehouse is not fancy, but comfortable. On this Saturday night, several of us ordered the special of Prime Rib, which was quite delicious. Our server, Breanna, was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return on future trips (if not again by the time this trip is over).

Was excited to find a BBQ place while we were here in RR. Nicely decorated to fit a ski town.

My wife and I are bbq nuts and travel around in Texas visiting BBQ joints from the TX BBQ Trail. In fact we prefer Texas style BBQ to KC BBQ, or southern BBQ (Alabama/Georgia).

I ordered the smoked chicken begrudgingly because they were out of sliced brisket. I'm used to places being out of brisket due to the lunch rush but that mostly only ever happens to places that have a 45-60 minute line out the door.

The chicken breast was a bit over cooked and dry. The okra was somewhat chewy.

My wife had the ribs. She thought the ribs were good flavored but a bit under cooked and did not pull away from the bone as they should. Her rib after eaten looked like a corn on the cob meaning she had to bit the meat from the bone. But she ate them all.

We both loved the BBQ sauce, a true Texas flavor. We bought a jar to take home.

It was good enough for another try.

Julie did a great job waiting on our table of eight.
