Easy access off of I-25. It is a very busy place with friendly and helpful management. RV sites are bigger than many other KOA's. Close to I-25, so there is a bit of highway traffic noise, but not overly so.

Arrived late and had no problem pulling into an open spot. The hook ups were easy to access and the site was level. The bath house was in the middle of a renovation so the showers were coed so to speak. Basically you just locked the door while you showered so nobody else could come in. Which works great with a family because you can all use it at once. The best part of this campground is the quietness of it. It is only a half mile off the I️-25 exit but it is tucked into the hill country with trees and you literally have no road noise at all. I️ enjoyed our stay here.

We were very surprised with this KOA after reading their write up in the KOA book. We were staying over night a few miles away since we couldn't get reservations the first of 4 nights. We drove over to see what space we would have and check the place out. Glad we did. The place was a bit more rustic then advertised and the area had a few days of heavy rain which washed out some of their roads and sites. They were working on them as fast as they could but the place minus the road issues was still too rustic for our RV. My husband refused to drive our expensive RV over the washed out, pot holes road to the RV site which was bad too. They understood and were kind enough to cancel our reservation with only a $10 fee instead of a full night charge. This could be a nice KOA but needs lots of TLC first.

We were in site 48. We were only staying one night, but we had to unhook the car so we could maneuver the RV enough to get level. We were here a few years ago. At that time we were in one of the sites in the front. Those sites, sites 1 through 7, are much more level. Our site was mostly dirt with some gravel in it. When it rained, the whole park was muddy. Needless to say, we were not happy and will probably not be back.

This KOA camp ground is conveniently located for your visit to Las Vegas, the nightly fee is reasonable but the camping spots are really narrow. Especially with all the RV's that have slide outs it is almost impossible to fit your rig in and have your awning out.
Furthermore, and we find that even more negative, is the fact that most of the spots are side by side meaning that you always have the entrance doors facing each other. That's fine when you're with close family or friends but not when your neighbours are complete strangers. If we had know this we would not have booked this RV park.

Room Tip: We stayed at the RV park, not in the hotel part, so not sure what they offer.
