We loved staying at the Dream Weaver Lodge in Chama. We had never stayed at a B&B before so we weren't sure what to expect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It feels like you are staying at a relative's house. Our room was called Orchard and it was big enough for our whole family. There was a king size bed for us and 2 other beds for our kids. The bathroom had a huge jacuzzi tub. Their rates are very reasonable- one of the least expensive rooms in Chama.
The owners are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There was a full hot breakfast both days. On the first day we had eggs, bacon, melon and oatmeal (there were other choicces). The second day we had omelets, waffles, and berries. They also have great coffee and a nice selection of teas.
The property is located on the west side of the town and it's kind of away from the main drag. It's very quiet. There are gorgeous views of the mountains. We sat on the back porch and watched deer walk up to the pond. The owners helped us make reservations for a chuckwagon dinner show at another hotel. They said they were going to be offering fly fishing packages next year so we will definitely be back!
