Me and my hubby stayed 3 nights at Jerami after searching and searching an accomodation in Seminyak
The hotel is a bit far from the beach and from the main restaurant road.
But it's easy to take a taxi (that the hotel will call for you) or take their free transportation (that is just twice a day at fixed time).
The hotel is very close to a nice supermarket and ATM, just in case you will need something. I always felt very safe walking around.
As soon as we entered in our villa we were surprised for how big it was.. a big dining, living, private pool, room was ok.. and bathroom with open shower.
The villa is nice.. not luxury. Expect a medium level.
The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom...
Since is separate from the room by a door that bring you outdoor and it doesn't give you the right feeling to be clean
The style of the bathroom is not really nice, old and a bit dirty.
Being outdoor expect to have some insects saying HI to you :)
Breakfast is served if you like in your private dining .. and its sooo nice to receive breakfast directly in the room for more privacy! Loved it..
But they have to work o food as well... it was nothing special...
We also tried the Spa.. that I won't recommend.. the linen on the Massage bed were dirty and with holes... In front of the Spa they're also having some works and you will hear a lot of noise while having the massage.
But the Must of Jerami is the staff... I felt really bad one night and they were really helpful!! Offering me to call the doctor, bringing camomile and being very very kind!!
I really suggest you Mr. Newman as a driver to go around Seminyak & the Temples.
I would go back! And I really miss them!!
Villa Jerami was absolutely a wonderful experience, from check in to check out, we were not disappointed. Upon check in and throughout our stay the staff was delightful!! Any and very request that we made was greeted with a smile and a prompt solution. From bringing breakfast every morning to our villa to upgrading us to a bigger villa upon arrival because they had availability. The villas are gorgeous, the surroundings are incredible, and the overall feel of the hotel is heavenly! We cannot wait to return and experience Villa Jerami again!! We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends. Thanks again for your warmth and wonderful hospitality.
Villa Jerami is a small boutique hotel/resort that offers large private pools, exceptional service, tastefully decorated rooms, a nice spa, a large private lounge and kitchen in the villas and anything else that you would need.
The service is just too good, couldn't have asked for more. They had also decorated the interiors with flower petals, designed heart in the bath tub to start with.
you can dive into your private pool from the bedroom (don't worry can close the door in between in the night). Everything is at your beck and call. The chef comes to your villa in the morning and cooks fresh breakfast in the villa kitchen in front of you so that you can be served fresh on your dining table. Just let them know what you wish to eat half an hour in advance so that they can come prepared.
We had to go for a 2am climb to Mount Batuk. Had booked through the hotel. In the mroning, we saw two picnic lunch boxes and water bottled already loaded in the car with compliments from the hotel.
The hotel is located in Seminyak right next to the main market and is close to Kuta, the party area. The only drawback is that it does not overlook the sea. Complimentary shuttles are available for Kuta where they have a hotel shack though.
Overall, a wonderful experience.
July was the third time we have been back to Villa Jerami, we received a wonderful welcome by the reception staff and management. When we booked direct we were given an upgrade to one bedroom royal villa. We cannot fault the service we receive every time we visit, the staff are always so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The villas may not be as up to date as other villas but the location (near Bali Deli) staff and price make up for that. The restaurant has opened to the public as well as guests, the food is excellent and we ended up eating there at least 3 nights out of 8, many thanks to Chef Wyan and his team (the spicy whole fish is my favourite).
Thank you to all the staff especially Wyan and Oki on reception. We will be back again.
We had a one bedroom villa and trust me they look must better than it is in the pictures and did I mention they are HUGE too! I love how the staffs greet you by your name, it makes me feel so much like HOME. One thing to add though, would have been perfect if there weren't many mosquitoes around although Managements do provide us with the sprays and stuff.
