We found Urchin via TripAdvisor and reserved a table through our hotel. It was seamless and was surprised to hear the restaurant held tables for a maximum of one hour (must be the traffic).
Urchin's decor is simple yet elegant with low lighting. But the best part of it is its open kitchen concept. The team worked ever so quietly to dish out some of the best food possible, with immaculate plating.
Ordered the 6-course tasting menu and never looked back. Mostly seafood (tuna, salmon, lobster), my favorite were the mains and of course, the dessert. That took the highlight and their souffle is something to return for. I savored every bite and wished for more!
Location wise, it is a little out of the way and slightly dim at night but Bali Taxi drivers should easily locate it.
Back in Bali in December and will definitely return for at least, lunch. Top food!
