Special thanks to driver Mr.Leong , we had 1 day trip as part of package. Driver was very friendly and careful on road.

Breakfast was good, served by friendly staff, special thanks to reception staff. Specially one lady reception staff was very patience in providing guidance. Will come back again for sure.

Very neat place.

This hotel/resort is VERY centrally located to some of the best food/shopping/drinking attractions that Seminyak has to offer. It is a quick stroll to the street to pick up a taxi, or a leisurely stroll to any of a number of great places to eat and drink. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating and the rooms were VERY clean when we checked in with the exception of a few stray hairs found from the previous occupants of the room. The only gigs I have for this place is the included breakfast is not as not what you would think. You get a free coffee, and small bowl of fruit. That's it. If you're thinking that you will be having eggs, bacon and toast.....well....you'd be quite mistaken. Correction. You can have eggs, bacon, and toast as long as you're willing to pay the a la carte prices. The Dipan breakfasts looked really good, but for those prices (or less!) you could quickly walk/taxi to a number of places that had breakfasts that were good as well, or even great!

If you're considering letting the hotel send their (ahem) shuttle it will cost you more than triple what a cab running the meter from the airport will cost. They charged us 350,000 IDR for them to provide the hotel "shuttle". It cost us 100,000 IDR in a cab running the meter from Seminyak to the airport. Our friends left the day before us and they also paid at/around 100,000 IDR in a cab running the meter. Keep in mind that this is a tourist town so if you do take a cab from the airport (or anywhere really) then the meter starts at 7000 IDR. You should nearly a mile away from your pickup point before the meter starts rolling beyond 7000 IDR. If the meter immediately starts ticking upward past 7K IDR, then get outta the cab, or tell the driver that you're not going to pay him more than 100,000 IDR for the ride from the airport to Seminyak. The same goes for any cab you take within the Seminyak area. We were just too tired and hot to walk another half mile from one spot to another and decided on a quick taxi one day. Normally a half mile roll will run you roughly 8-10,000 IDR. This cabbie's meter rolled to 33,000 IDR in a half a mile! He received 10,000 IDR and we got outta the cab. Stay away from "cabs" with no meter. And when you get in a cab with a meter you have to tell them to turn on the meter otherwise they will try and charge you the tourist price to go anywhere. All prices typically will start at/around 50,000 IDR when quoted by the taxi driver. Trust me. Use the meter. Unless you're sitting in a lot of traffic en route, the meter price will ALWAYS come out to be less than what was quoted by the driver.

The hotel is really on the ball when it comes to service and to cleaning your rooms. The staff is super friendly. There were ample English speaking movie and news channels to choose from during the days where we just didn't feel like getting out before dusk. And the Air conditioning kept our room cold enough where you could hang meat if you wanted to. Try to get a room on the backside of the site if you can. If you're on the front side, then you're directly adjacent to the Sea Vu Play bar and those guys POUND music until the wee hours of the morning! The room we checked in to had earplugs on the nightstand in case we couldn't stand the noise until they closed after 0100hrs.
The only other gig that I have is big one for me. The wifi at the Dipan was terrible. Not bad. Not even okay. It was TERRIBLE! When you actually can get online, the network is slower than a snail running the Daytona 500 and you get kicked off repeatedly and have to log in over and over. UGH! So, if you're on a working vacation, or even just want to post to FB all the pics and happenings from your trip, then you're outta luck. Their network just can't handle it too well. I finally tracked down a SIM card from a wireless company and bought data. It was MUCH faster to use that than to log in to the Dipan Network.

The incredible things we saw made the trip that much more awesome. We greatly appreciate all the hard work you did  in making our second year wedding anniversary .
Thank you to Dewi and Yuliana for a making our reservation hassle free and every inquiries I asked were all answered.
We were very impressed with the quality and service in The Dipan. All the staffs are exceptional.

Special mention to LIONK COME our tour guide and became our friend.  We will always have good memories about this trip because of you Lionk. You have a really hard job but you are always doing great and made us easy as first timers in Bali.We thoroughly enjoyed the many chances to experience local Balinese food and in all cases the food was plentiful. This trip went beyond our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

Thank you again Lionk for taking care of us.

Love,

I can’t thank you enough for the effort and arrangement The Dipan Team had made for my mom’s Birthday. I just wrote a brief note in the special request section and they literally poured in their best. When we checked in the receptionist told me they had prepared a cake for my mom - just let them know when to bring it out. We check in late and were out from the villa that night but all the diff shift staff were all very well informed. They made the surprise a success - in the morning the whole Dipan Team of like 10 Staff or more came out singing and one of them even had a guitar - the cake was huge and my mom blew her cake at Dipans gorgeous tropical swimming pool’s hanging cabana. It was magical! Her best birthday moment she said. We even had a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa. My whole family enjoyed their stay very much - Dad love the villa! it was the perfect choice at the Dipan. Your team had made great memories for my family. Thank you! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We loved the Dipan ... a small boutique hotel, far enough out of Seminyak hustle and bustle but not too far. Within 10 minutes to Potato Head Beach Club and some nice restaurants. The staff were fantastic as was the food. Our room was large and clean. The private pool was a treat. It was a very relaxing environment and a great place to stay.
