Rented 3 of the 3 bedroom villas for a 5 night stay for 10 women aged a little over 40 (first comment - 5 nights just not long enough!). Pretty, stylish, minimalist, immaculate villas with everything you could need - gorgeous bedrooms & bathrooms with very comfortable beds & bed linen; big fluffy towels; first class turn down and cleaning services; fabulous staff - friendly, exceedingly accommodating, helpful yet not obtrusive; every type of wine/champagne/cocktail glass not to mention a blender to whip up the odd batch of your favourite tipple; coffee machine; fruit baskets; nice fresh light breakfasts included in the price - but staff shopped for extras such as eggs, avocados, tomatoes when we wanted something more substantial (we provided rupiah to them when they went to shops or markets - so so so very cheap); an added bonus for cat lovers a couple of resident bengals, very special! Great security. Staff really are just a big asset to this place - George went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after and his staff Nyoman (Norman!), Novi just to mention a couple were so fantastic - NOTHING was ever too much trouble - we even asked about sugar cane 'stirrers' for our mojito's one night - we had sugar cane branches delivered and very professionally cut and ready to add to our glasses within about 30 minutes of asking!

My wife and I stayed here for a week with her parents. We came from the US, her parents from Hong Kong.
Georg (owner) was fantastic with email communication from initial enquiry right up until arrival. Airport pickup was super easy, and we are glad we hired the villa transport instead of taking our chances with taxis at the airport. Very convenient and welcoming!! Especially after the twenty hours of flying to get to Bali.
The photos of the villas are very true to life. Absolutely fantastic.
The real stars of our stay here are the staff. Nyoman supervises the staff and checked in with us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed, and also helped arrange day trips with the villa driver, Putu, who is a fantastic driver in the challenging Bali traffic!
The one person who really made our time at the villa amazing was Rentia, who took care of us everyday. She made a fantastic breakfast each morning, suited to whatever we wanted. And the fruit smoothie she makes is awesome! On a couple mornings she also prepared traditional Balinese breakfasts, which we really enjoyed. One night she also prepared a selection of Balinese foods for dinner, which was fantastic.
My mother-in-law felt a little under the weather for a couple days and Rentia really went out of her way to make her feel better, and genuinely cared.
She really made sure we were happy and comfortable all the time, and at the end of the week she felt like family. We really can't say enough about how much we appreciate Rentia and the rest of the staff!
As others have said the location is central to shops and restaurants on Oberoi/Laksmana/Kayu Aya street (the street has three names for some reason) but is very quiet at night. Once in a while there was a little bass thumping around 2am but it wasn't obnoxious. You certainly can't hear the traffic on busy Oberoi.
Favorite restaurants nearby are Bistrot, Kilo, Zibiru (sit out on the upstairs patio!), and Ku De Ta down at the beach.
One minor suggestion- the closets could use more hangers. :) Other than that, we would not hesitate to stay at Sahana again. And we would most certainly request Rentia again!
My family and I travelled to Seminyak for our son's wedding. This was going to be a trip of a lifetime and it certainly was - not only the wedding but the fantastic villa we had rented. I had researched a lot of villas months before going and I was so impressed with the professionalism of the owner of this property. From our arrival late at night to our departure 12 days later - it was nothing but sheer bliss. The staff were most welcoming, willing, and were certainly part of 'our' family from dealing with grandchildren to pre wedding nerves, quietly in the background but there for every need. Norman and Wayana were our hosts in all ways and nothing was ever a problem. The location could not be better - the villa was 5 star and I just didn't want to leave. Congratulations to all at Sahana villas and we miss you but we will be back!
Just wanted to write a quick review to say thank you for all of the OUTSTANDING hospitality we received from the Sahana Staff during our stay.
From the minute we opened the doors and entered our villa we knew we were in for a pretty special treat.
The rooms and decor is breathtaking and the lawns are so perfectly maintained.
The outdoor shower/bathrooms were unbelievably tranquil and private.
The staff are so happy to assist.
We stayed during the very beautiful Nypei period. The staff cooked us a huge feast the day before in preparation for the "lockdown".
We were all very sad to leave the Villa and couldn't help but reflect on our amazing holiday.
When asked if we could think of any improvements that could be made we were honestly at a loss! We simply could not fault one single thing-except our time there wasn't long enough!
Hope to see you again soon!
Sahana Villas are simply gorgeous. The décor and grounds are absolutely beautiful not to mention the superb location. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with the bathrooms a highlight. You'll feel very special staying here. Beds were the most comfortable I have slept in, and the rooms have absolutely everything you could wish for. The only negative I had, (and to some it might be a positive) but we found the staff to be a little intrusive. For example one day we just wanted to chill by the pool and had the privacy sign up but it didn't stop the staff from coming in and doing things. This would be a great thing if you wanted staff at your beck and call but for our group we wanted a little privacy. However this is a small negative for the unbelievable time we had there. I would definitely stay at Sahana Villas again and cant wait to go back.
