First trip to Bali for our annual families trip. We are 3 families with a wheelchair bounded mum. The kids love the Villa which has a pool and very comfortable sofa. The sofa is so comfortable that some of us prefer to sleep on the sofa than on the bed in the room. The top level has only 1 toilet which is attached to one of the room and is shared. Could be slight inconvenient for those staying in the 2 rooms at the top level. Wifi signal is OK but unreliable. Not suitable for streaming movie if it is one of the planned activities. There is no TV in the hall below. We have several power trip on the first day in the Villa.
Cleanliness is one area for improvement as some of the towel and bedsheet has stained on it.
The staff are great
Dwi (Assistant Relationship Manager) assist us in the checkin and arranged for all the massage session at the Villa which might not be the cheapest but we find it reasonable.
Hadi and another lady (Housekeeper) were always available to assist and clean up our 'mess' after meal. They also help to prepare breakfast and setup the BBQ pit on our last night. They also cook very nice local dishes dinner before we left for our night flight home.
Gusti, our driver is also very helpful and drive us around to some place of interest and recommend some nice local food.
The Villa has sign of ageing and can use some serious maintenance. Although it rain almost the whole time for the last 2 days of our stay, we still enjoy the Villa stay. We will be back if we are going to visit Bali again.
I made the beautiful memory in Bali.
The house was clean and beautiful.
The pool was the best for my children.
The food made by housekeeper was very good.
I strongly recommend this villa.
My family and I stayed in Villa Erama for Thanksgiving 2017. We absolutely loved it. The villa is as pictured with very few variations. It was kept immaculately clean during our entire stay. Putri and Dwi, the managers, were extremely nice and explained all of the house rules and information when we arrived. Hadi and Marti were the best. My niece is still asking about Hadi. We took advantage of having daily breakfast and some dinners prepared. Everything tasted phenomenal, extremely fresh. We definitely miss this! Hadi was onhand to answer any questions and help with a takeout orders for the days we didn’t order dinner. We were lucky enough to have Putu as our driver. Now he was a godsend! He took us everywhere we wanted to go and a few places we didn’t know we wanted to visit. The only downside I can think of is, the villa is tucked away from the main street which deterred us from taking a walk. Regardless, I can’t recommend Villa Erama enough. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay and the staff was the cherry on top. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We’ve definitely spread the word to our friends and family.
Our overall stay was very good. The Villa needs an upgrade re new towels & servicing to air conditioning & wifi. Water & power was unavailable on several occasions. However Hadi the housekeeper is a gem & gentleman. Always on call for whatever reason you required him. Although we didn’t see much of Marti the other housekeeper, she also is a valuable staff member. Both an asset to the Villa. Also don’t remember her name. But the lady that greeted us on arrival & explained everything is also a valuable, helpful & courteous person. Also sorry to hear that the Villa will no longer be available.
We had a great and enjoyable holiday. And the butler and the driver were also very kind and wonderful. The villa was also kept very clean and was easy to spend. I think that by all means if you visit with friends and a large number of people.
