It is an awesome place to go and relax the farm and surroundings garden and greenery is stunning. I like the place where the kids can run and play in the water. The food at the market was wonderful and lots to choose from. The only thing I didnt like was that the dogs were all around where we were sitting eating. I think that there should be designated areas for the people with there dogs to sit and eat and areas for people without dogs to sit and eat.. like the smoking areas.

The young man who presented our tasting had so much enthusiasm and spunk that he inspired us to buy a lot of his wine. We were welcomed with a glass of dry bubbly - a very enjoyable MCC. The Lourensford wines are really excellent and he presented us with four different Chardonnays from four different vineyards on the farm. One of the wines was just crowned South Africa's top Chardonnay, and it was a privilege to taste it and to be able to buy it. The was an excellent Pinot Noir, a Rhône blend and a Cabernet to die for. In the end we stayed too long, spent too much money on wines and had the best time ever!
