“8 Nights stay for 5 Adults in Weehawken”
Reviewed 21 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

It was an older style house with all the conveniences needed for travellers. The owners were very obliging and Chris provided an induction to the nearby sites and shops. They provided a provision of drinks and breakfast goodies in the fridge and also fresh fruit to see us through our stay which we really appreciated.
The house was only minutes away from outstanding views of the New York skyline and the local bus which was close by. The bus service took us through the Lincoln tunnel to New York on a daily basis for $3.00 one way.
We all enjoyed our stay in the residence and the hospitality.

I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

Yes, this is an older neighborhood -- also a historic neighborhood where the most famous duel was ought on the Palisades -- between Alexander Hamilton, Commerce Secretary and Aaron Burr, VP of the U.S. One of the older neighborhood mansions is the Vanderbilt Mansion built by Cornelius Vanderbilt the pioneer who built the railroads to open the country to the West. But progress is surely in the offing as one sees the magnificent edifices sprouting on the waterfront with magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline...

the house is located in a great location for visiting Manhattan a/o the other boroughs of NYC, in a quiet beautiful neighborhood overlooking the river with a fascinating view of the skyline whether day or night. the house is spacious with very large rooms. the house is a bit old with a few creaks but you dont notice it much. there is a nice yard and you can have a barbecue. the best part of the stay are the owners Chris and Juliet. they treat you like royalty. they tend to your every need. when we arrived they had no problem checking us in early (no extra cost) and even put food in the fridge! they are a sweet couple that are there for your every need. even when i needed a printer to print tickets, they had no problem letting me use their pc. they even folded our laundry! the best owners we could ask for, we miss them already. we highly recommend the house for families or groups visiting NYC.
