“Pleasantly surprised!! We'll be back!!”

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived! First, we were able to get a parking spot in the lot! Then, while walking through the halls, to our room, I was a bit nervous, but........Our room was updated and, most importantly, clean! The walls appeared freshly painted, the dark floor has a tile feel while looking like wood (awesome), and the bed linens were modern and clean! The room has a great Sony flat screen TV, tiny fridge, and lockbox also! The bathroom is small, and it is a blend of dated and modern, but clean!! The beds are firm, and the pillows fluffy......we all had a great sleep! There is a pool. It, and its deck area, is very small, but nice and clean. Only a few blocks away are the beach and boardwalk. The breakfast that is included was a perfect start to our day! We had pancakes one morning, and eggs the next morning!! Seating is limited, but we lucked out to get a table. The food was delicious, and the girls that served us were very nice! The Cranbury Inn is a high value place to stay, at a low cost! Thank you, Cranbury Inn!! (One suggestion…towels hooks, please!!) We would definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: Keep in mind that there are no elevators.

Just got back from another great vacation at the Cranbury Inn. Had a wonderful time with hubby and 3 grandkids. New tile floors and bedding, especially love the new deck area. Marge is still there and Still makes you feel like family. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about the people that run the Cranbury Inn and Sea-Breeze Inn. They are truely WONDERFUL people!!
When we arrived in Seaside we were originally staying at Skyview Manor, which was simply AWFUL! The door didn't shut, there was no smoke detector, it was simply awful. I was traveling with my 4 year old & 14 year old and knew that I couldn't stay in a place unsafe like that. After fighting with Expedia to switch rooms they put us up at the Cranbury Inn. Well, when we arrived at the Cranbury they didn't have enough room for all the nights we were staying. Alex, the manager, saw how incredibly upset I was and quickly stepped into action! He brought us a block away (which was also a block closer to the beach) and let us stay in a very nice room at his other location for the same price. He also fought with Expedia for me to get me further discounts and also Expedia credits, which I will never use cause the Expedia people were just awful, but that's another story for another time!!
Anyways, our 3 night stay with Rex & Alex just simply wasn't enough! They have done such beautiful work on these Inns, it's just incredible. They went out of their way to be nice to us and make sure that we were always happy. They even treated us to breakfast at the Cranbury every morning even though that wasn't where we were staying. They treated us like family every second we were there. Alex even treated me and my girls to ice cream from the Ding-A-Ling ice cream truck! They were absolutely amazing!! I could go on for hours about how wonderful they are!
Thank you guys so so so much for making our stay so wonderful! There is no way to thank you enough!!

My husband, (89 yr old) father and I made a trip back to NJ (we are now living in Chattanooga, TN) to visit our family. We made reservations back in March, 2011 with the new manager (Raj) of THE CRANBURY INN in Seaside Heights, NJ and knew, from that moment we were making the right choice of hotel. He and his wife were so very accommodating and helpful for what our needs were. When we arrived 6/14/2011 we were reassured IMMEDIATELY our decision was a good one. From meeting Alex (manager), to being shown our clean and comfortable room, to having the house staff welcome us we were ready to enjoy all that was offered here.
Their newly renovated rooms, sparkling swimming pool w/clean deck and tables & chairs, front veranda w/ comfy chairs and setees and little cafe (serving hot breakfast of your menu choice) to paying guersts were all A+ for us.
When our vaca ended on 6/30/2011, we felt as though we were leaving family behind! The office staff, house cleaning staff & cafe staff could not have been more caring and accommodating; along with guests we befriended while there. Many of the guests were RETURN guests some for as many as 16,10, 6, 5, etc. years. That says something Positive in itself!
THE CRANBURY INN is located at the North end of Seaside Heights on the corner of Hiering and Central Ave. and is 3 blocks from the beach & amusements. We hope you will consider looking into THE CRANBURY INN so we can befriend you next year and the years to follow!

Room Tip: Recommend the poolside ground floor.

My family and I just got back from our yearly trip to the Cranbury Inn. Like some of the reviewers on here we had been coming here for a very long time; in fact this was our twelfth year in a row. In June 2010, we had many of the same issues that so many of the other "Veteran Patrons" had when we arrived for our trip. We came to our traditional Motel only to find the place to be a mess, under new ownership, employees leaving and just a lot of overall confusion. Even though the new owners were trying to make the best of a very tough situation, it just wasn't the same and of course we questioned ever coming back again. During our week last year the new owners & managers had assured us that they had bought this for all the right reasons and that their intention was to invest in the property and maintain the "Family Friendly" & "Budget Friendly" atmosphere...... Fast forward to this year: I will be honest, we waited to book this year because we just weren't sure what to do, so we took a leap of faith and called to check on the packages and availability. My wife had the opportunity to speak with the manager in charge, Alex, and as it turned out the value packages were still available (at a great price) and Alex informed us of some of the work that had already been done. When we arrived at the motel we were amazed at what had been done to the property, "What a Difference"!! All the rooms (beds, curtains, walls, furniture etc.) have been redone, the hallways have been re-tiled, all of the walls re-painted, new pool area tables and chairs as well as a new deck located by the front office. The best part is that they're not done and there are even more improvements coming for next year. To make it clear to those who have stayed in the past and to those who may be considering the Cranbury in the future, it is still one of the best values you will find at the Jersey Shore and at a great price. Alex is incredible and the staff could not have been more accommodating in every way. Example: Our air conditioner was not working properly when we had gotten there so we said something to Alex and by that night when we went to bed we had a brand new air conditioner installed. As much as we loved the Cranbury Inn over the past several years, this was by far one of the best stays we have ever had at this motel. To be honest, we liked it so much that we are going back again in August for another visit. Please give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Our staff are very happy to hear you decided to give us a chance after we completed our 6-month long renovation. For your prior visit, we appreciate your recognition that the new management were working hard to make the best of a tough situation, but we are very glad you did not give up on the Cranbury Inn.

We have certainly worked hard to improve the entire hotel, as well as the guest experience. Our training reflects very well on Alex, and all the other staff we have to support our rooms and make our customers are relaxed as possible on their visit. We are always working to improve our property as much as possible.

We are and will continue to be of the best options for anyone visiting the New Jersey Shore and Seaside Heights. Thank you and we will see you in the future!
