Its all in the sauce.I went to la psataria twice once for dinner ,it was so goog had my sons rehearsal dinner there.Im a stickler when it comes to a good sauce they hit the mark.Service is great food threw the roof. Frank who handled the banquet side and served was outstanding,so was our servers. I cant pin point what was good food wise it was all very very good apps. and food.When i dined there i had the regular portion of lasagna the best,mussels great,antipast great ,i can go on and on just go, if you dont like it then you eat italion out of a jar.

consistent, good \food at reasonable prices. clean, a little noisy, but great service and always good food. consistency is what you want when you travel here time and time again. La Pasteria has it.

Food doesnt seem as good as it used to be.
Just seemed not fresh and microwaved. Was on a weeknight but still

We often go early on Friday before the crowd hits because they don't take reservations for small parties. In the summer we eat outside on the small patio. The decor inside and outside feels like Italy. (It also smells like the inside of a restaurant in Italy.)
The salads are varied and tasty - big. The pasta dishes cooked al dente. The meat dishes original. Most of all, I'm addicted to their polenta, both the one with mushrooms and the parm one.
It's also BYOB so we can have a great Italian wine at wholesale prices.

Once again drove over an hour to La Pastaria in Ted Bank. Arrived about 7 pm on a Saturday night. No wait (just two of us). Our waitress (Jennifer) was so pleasant, professional and absolutely attentive! Service was excellent! We shared the pear salad (outrageous) and chicken parmigiana with linguine. Large portions. We had the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and coffee. Well worth the drive and will return!
