Harvard has the diverse communities of Cambridge and Somerville with Boston across the river. Yale has the large city of New Haven surrounding it but Princeton University sits on a small plateau looking down on a major watershed isolated from any urban complications. Like Yale, many of its buildings are beautiful stone gothic with smaller colonial buildings surrounding them. One old building housing a theater is the must see Alexander Building. Its colored stone work is a marvel. A visit to the campus should include a walk down Prospect Street to view a whole slew of two story mansions. I was told that Princeton doesn't have fraternities and sororities. Instead, some of the "chosen" undergrads distinguish their class privileges by becoming members of "eating clubs" and they dine at their chosen mansion. Eating in these mansions with others like them, isolated on this beautiful campus, how do these students learn about and become a part of America's value of democracy and inclusion?

It's an amazing campus to walk around any time of the year. It's full of old buildings with lots of character. We enjoyed walking around admiring the architecture and the charm of the old buildings. It's very relaxing and can easily spend couple of hours inside the campus.

The campus itself was beautiful, easy to navigate and had ample parking for visitors that was free! All students and staff were very helpful and willing to share information. Several students remarked that they are well fell on campus!

A classic magnificent campus in the heart of a bustling & charming historic town that maintains centuries of tradition, alongside state of the art libraries, museums, facilities & a magnificent chapel. An obviously diversified student population of women & men enhances the ambiance, as well as the appeal for generations to come.
