This place was ok. We booked here because this was a last minute vacation for a family of 6 and suites that would sleep that many we're limited. Although we had enough sleeping space, it wasn't a good choice for us personally. We have an 18 month old and it was hard trying to get him to sleep and stay asleep when we were all in the same room, and we didn't have a microwave to heat his food. The toilet gave us a lot of trouble, but we appreciated when maintenance came up to fix it within minutes of our call. It was a short distance walk to the beach which was nice. The staff was very nice and the pool was nice, too. For $250 a night, though, I would've liked a more comfortable room and/or more amenities. Beds were uncomfortable and very noisy. Just getting in and out of bed made enough noise to wake the 4 kids. If there was room service or a restaurant, we didn't see it which was also a bit of a bummer. All in all, for a last minute trip, it was nice to find a place close to the beach to sleep 6, but I probably wouldn't choose to stay there again.

The impala is a great family place to stay. We stayed in apartment 100 the rooms were spacious and clean with two seperate bedrooms. The only suggestion I have is to add a TV to the king size bedroom. My family has already booked to stay here next year.

We stayed in room 117 on east side for two nights. It is a conveniently located beach motel- not fancy but good for what it is. The location was great with a very short walk to the heart of the boardwalk. It was very close to the amusement park with just a minute walk to the back entrance. There is some noise from the rollercoaster at night but it did not bother me ( I sleep with ear plugs). The pool was fine. The pool closes early but I think that is typical for the area. I was disappointed that they would not allow us to keep car parked in their lot past check out. We were only staying 2 hours more and leaving before checking in time for new arrivals and there were plenty of empty spots. We had to go find street parking for a couple hours. I would stay again.

Thank you for choosing the Impala Island Inn. We always offer early parking on the day of arrival, so we hope you took advantage of that. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Pros:
1. Very close to the beach and boardwalk, less than a block walk!
2. Staff very accommodating
3. Very comfortable beds!
4. Nice pool, patio, and roof top deck where we were able to eat breakfast.
Cons:
1. You can hear some of the rollercoaster nearby
2. Room could use dusting
3. We had ants in our sink, the staff did offer to have it looked at by maintenance right away.
4. No internet. Their wifi does not work.

Overall:
While this place has some minor innconconviences, the location and price can't be beat! We would stay again!

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you had any "cons" but hope to make sure that is not the case on your next visit back.
