I love cracker barrel. The ambiance, the blueberry pancakes and in general, the service. Traveling throughout the eastern seaboard, its a good place to get consistent same service and a good country breakfast. Over time they have extended their menu to include more healthy selections; and in general all locations have been similar.

The last visit, however, was out of the norm when a customer having a spat with another customer threw a glass of water. I happen to be setting close and got sprinkled on the back and water on the feet. It was the response from the Cracker Barrel employees and manager that was not expected. Comments like, "it was only water, so no big deal", "He (the one getting hit) should beat her XXX", "well, it doesn't seem to be a problem." Perhaps true, there was no real harm to me and my 87 year old mother, but give me the opportunity to say so without minimizing a potential harm. No, no one suggested we get a free or reduced bill. Mother said they have lost her business.

Clean, great food, good people... Need I say more? Ok. The store is fun, so is the decor. When on the road, it is our family tradition to have a meal at a Cracker Barrel. This location didn't disappoint!

I walked over from the Hampton Inn for dinner, I was seated right away and service was quick, the food was ok, fries were soggy, grits was cold, but the rest of the stuff was good.

They have the cutest little gift shop when u come in. Feels like I went back to my childhood with some of the candy and snacks. They have a lot of very nice things if you need a gift. We went on a Sunday and the special for the day is fried chicken. It was delicious ... very light, juicy and crispy. It's a good place if you want southern cooking. It's not great but the atmosphere makes up for it. When it's warmer it's nice to sit in the rocking chairs out front and play checkers.

Pancake we're burnt. Scramble egg was not completely cooked, grits were horrendous. At 11:15 am there was a 45 minute wait. Sausage gravy was good along with sausage. I don't think I will visit here any time soon.
