Food was fresh and tasty. Drinks were strong. Best Dim Sum. I really loved the eggplant stuffed with shrimp with Black Bean sauce! Yum

The Chinese food at this Ft. Lee standby, in the same location for 25 years, is only average, but what bumps this place up one category is their serving of dim sum daily at lunch. We have eaten here several times over these past 25 years. I went for lunch today with a business associate and the restaurant was nearly empty, but nevertheless, the waitress came around with tray after tray of steaming dim sum items which we could accept or refuse as suited us. The dim sum was very good and the choices available were typical of Hong Kong-style dim sum--mostly dumplings and similar small plates. Our water glasses were repeatedly refilled. Service was almost too good in that they hovered over us a bit. The décor could use some spiffing up.

Restaurant opening hours are 11:30 to. But they opened at 11:45 and we had almost left the area. What a shame it would have been. They had really fresh dim sum for us. Enjoyed everything we choose

Located on Main Street, this restaurant(here since 1990) serves very good authentic Chinese cuisine. They have rice dishes($6.95 lunch and $7.95 dinner) which include a heaping serving of rice with a portion of several entrees which one can choose from such as fish, chicken, etc. We had the beef chow fun which was excellent-plenty of beef and a good-sized portion. But the price is two times the price than in Chinatown. But if you factor the tolls, parking and gas then it could end up the same. The prices were a bit high also for the dimsum. As we were here for an early dinner, the place was not crowded. The service was fine but the waitstaff do not smile much. A party room is available, Parking is a problem. If you can park on the street you are lucky, if not there is a municipal lot across the street behind the post office.

I've been going here since I was a kid and it's authentic Chinese food. It offers great lunch specials, big portions and dim sum everyday of the week from 11-3PM and variety of food for dinner. You can't get good dim sum for cheap in NJ and they offer it which is a plus in everyone's books! Come and give it a shot.
