My wife and I are long time fans of this upscale continental restaurant in Chatham. On a recent visit with some friends, I observed that although the food quality was of its usual high standard across the board, the size of the portions had significantly diminished (smaller foie gras appetizer, 2 instead of 3 (in the past) lamb ribs on the rack of lamb dish, etc.)). We were not given the usual petit four at the end (We were told the kitchen had run out)
Perhaps the above changes were part of an effort to hold prices constant. A three course dinner with reasonable choices is $69, although as usual for certain selections the price is raised.
Service on a busy Saturday was fine. Overall, still a good choice compared to NYC.
