one of the best joints around. Really great food - I love the wings & my husband the mussels, and he loves the calzone. Great steak!

Deep fried calzones are where it's at, at the Flatbrook Tap House. I also like their boneless wings. I live nearby so I'm sure I'll visit again soon.
Great little bar with above-average food flatbrook Tap House try a calzone definite must what up in the woods this is the place to stop on Route 206 highly recommended
Stopped for an impromptu lunch while on the road and fell into this great tap room. The proprietor was gracious and pleasant as was the food. I enjoyed a home made pea soup that had a secret ingredient that was not revealed to me after I asked a number of different ways. Great service, great food.
When my husband and I pulled up to the Flatbrook Tap House, I asked him if we were at the correct place. This establishment doesn't look like much from the outside, but I implore you to step over the threshold. The atmosphere inside is cozy and charming. The bar is beautiful wood with old-time beer chandeliers, and wood and glass ice boxes filled with bottled beer. Dining tables surround the perimeter of the restaurant, and children are welcome. We started with ice cold draft beer - Sam Adams Cold Snap. Other tap choices included Coors, Yuengling, and Bud. My husband ordered a cup of chili which was what I would call New England style (not Tex-Mex). It was savory and chock full of meat - no beans in this chili. We shared a fried meatball calzone. You can get the calzones fried or baked. We opted for the fried because you can get a baked calzone at any pizza place in New Jersey. It was out of this world. Imagine a giant mozzarella stick filled with garlicky, well seasoned meatballs. Super delicious! Beware, it's large and should be shared unless you are extremely hungry. I'm looking forward to a return trip.
