This is our 4th stay at this establishment over the years, and another different room to try out. Once again, we had a great experience. The bed was amazing as was the whole room. We were in the Sawyer House this time. Downstairs with a fireplace and comfortable furniture made for a lovely stay. Wish we had time to stay another night! Restaurant/bar on the premises, and a wonderful breakfast made it the complete package for us.

Husband and I went for dinner. He ordered Beef and Burgundy entree. Was ONE very small piece of meat and alot of gravy on mashed potatoes. Very funny!! So my husband talked to waitress and ordered again. Same thing!!! Basically dish is gravy and mashed potatoes. No beef. Husband gave up and then ordered a sandwich. We did speak to manager about it. She didn't have much to say. Not a pleasant dinner since I was almost done with my dinner by the time my husband got his dinner.

Judy and Jim, we apologize we were not able to deliver you a great experience. The special that evening should have been full of flavor and value. Please give us another shot next time you are in town. We won't disappoint!

We went on a recommendation of friends. We enjoyed our food a lot. The fresh homemade bread is incredible and it is available for sale. The service was friendly and efficient. The sesame maple scallops and the coastal express were great.

This is my third stay at the Woodstock Inn Station and Brewery. This is the second time staying in the room called "The Flume" at the Sawyer House and we just love it. There are only three rooms in the house and The Flume has a covered porch with rocking chairs. We just love sitting out there to people watch or enjoy the shadows stretching across the mountains. Just lovely.

The value - particularly when you stay several days and take advantage of the discounted extra nights - is tremendous. The incredible breakfasts - all included in the price of the room - are beyond compare. Huge selection, including some standards and a whole host of interesting unique offerings. There are probably a dozen different Eggs Benedict versions alone!

Lauren was at the front desk and was SUPER helpful and friendly, regardless of how busy things got. She greeted us with a smile, remembered our names, recommended attractions, provided information - she is the ideal person to be making a good first impression to the inn's guests.

North Woodstock is a lovely little town with lots of cute shops and restaurants. Cascade Park, just across the street, offers a place to get in the water and tube down the natural water slides. (Tubes available for rent for only $5!) Clark's Trading Post, Whale's Tale Water Park, Franconia Notch, Lost River Gorge, Cannon Mountan, Loon Mountain...all just a short distance. If traveling during the summer, the town hosts a Summer Music Series, with live music available every Saturday evening on the town common.

Guests at the inn can use the pools at Loon Mountain Resort for free, a nice perk. There is an indoor pool there if the weather is bad. Guests can also request discounts for local attractions and even buy tickets right at the inn, as we did for Lost River Gorge.

The bars (both indoor and out) are unique and fun. I asked a bartender to make me whatever he considered to be his specialty drink and I ended up with an incredible cucumber and mint martini! Yummy!

Can't say enough good things about this place. We'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: We love the Sawyer House. With only three rooms, it's almost like having your own place.

We spent 1 night here as we drove through the White Mountains. It was right at the centre of town, lovely historic buildings, and the flowers and landscaping were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting beside the river, it was nice that there were chairs there.

We had breakfast at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. The only advice I would give is to make a reservation for dinner, as it was very busy.

Thanks Beach! We do offer the ability for our houseguests to make reservations. It is one of many perks of being a guest! We are so glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you back soon!
