You would not expect to find a truly delicious asian restaurant in Wolfeboro, but dine at East of Suez and you will not be disappointed. Our table started with the ahi tuna served with the freshest ginger I've ever seen. We enjoyed two specials (salmon and lamb), one red curry with shrimp and scallops, and the Philippine Adobo and we ended with the purple yam tiramisu and another dessert recommended by our server. Everything was outstanding! Don't pass up an opportunity to dine here. BYOB, and reservations recommended.

This is a funky and fantastic restaurant. It's a true Wolfeboro institution and I highly recommend it. Every meal is excellent and this restaurant is very good about allergies and substitutions, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The Pancit Canton is excellent with chicken and the Philippine Adobo is still fantastic after all these years. This restaurant is BYOB so it can be a very affordable and tasty night out!

We have wanted to go here for the past 20 years and we finally made it. What a treat. They accommodated us for an early seating so we could get to a concert. The staff was excellent. They sat us on the porch. It was perfect. The food was amazing. Even the salad dressings were unique. The best Tom Yum soup I've ever had and the Thai red curry with scallops and shrimp was packed with flavor. The coconut shrimp was cooked perfectly and it was elaborate. No cookie cutter food here. The goat cheese rangoon was unique and tasty. Save room for desserts. The mango cheese cake had my companions licking their forks. Looking forward to going back soon.

So out of the box for our little town. This seasonal gem is a must try. Meals fresh and cooked to order. From the salad dressing to the goat cheese Rangoon with dipping sauce to the peanut encrusted tilapia - an easy trip for the taste buds. Be sure to add the exclamation point to your meal with the cheesecake tempura - who thought of this?! Remember reservations a must, open Memorial day 'til Labor and BYOB.
