One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had! Because:

TV did not work.
Changed rooms and sofa bed was unusable.
Toilets were backing up.
Lights that did not work.
False advertisement with pool since the hot tubs have not been operable for over one year but still shown on website.
Mattresses old and caved in.
Hairdryer missing from wall.
Manager was rude.
We booked two nights but only stayed one since we were so turned off.

This hotel is in desperate need of renovations and has many things wrong with it, beginning with charging more than $180 night for terrible accommodations. The toilet kept backing up, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, our tv didn't work and the pull-out sofa mattress literally tipped beneath the couch itself. We were told the wifi wasn't working during our stay, but upon reading other reviews, it seems this has been an ongoing problem. The website showed a beautiful pool area, but when we arrived we learned the two jacuzzis had been shut down for well over a year and the "heated" pool was too cold for swimming. We booked a two-night stay and left after one night because we were so unsatisfied.

Room Tip: Rooms are outdated and uncomfortable. Mattresses definitely need to be replaced.

The Snowy Owl Inn is in a beautiful location, and there is so much for a family to do anytime of year.

However, the property has become dated and in need of renovations. Our room had dust all over the lamps, a lamp with a bulb hanging by a wire, and a couch with what looked to be a cigarette hole in it.

When we booked our stay one of the ameinities was a pool with a hot tub/jacuzzi. When we went downstairs to the pool area we were told the jacuzzi was closed as a result of not meeting state inspection standards. This was never disclosed as we made the reservation...however there was a sign when we checked in letting us know the internet was down..and no time set for resolution.

The continental breakfast is pre-wrapped doughnuts and muffins with juice and coffee.

None of the above comes cheap, and I am sure this property does just fine during ski season because of the location.

Until some changes are made with the property, the Snowy Owl Inn is not worth the price.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are dated..try and get a view of the mountains

The place is old. Smells of old carpets. The so called continental breakfast is nothing but muffins, donuts, juice and coffee.
Mind you, this is $160/night Inn...
lights weren't working in our corridor first two nights.
One lamp was broken in our room.
Free wifi doesn't work most of the time

The Snowy Owl Inn is a great place to stay at in the mountains of New Hampshire. The people are pleasant but nobody really seems to know what is going on. We booked our stay for 5 people and really only had 4 people show up and were charged "double" the booking price (even though we booked 5 people). We were already paying more than everybody in our party. I have never ever had a hotel or Inn randomly charge more money after booking. We were cheated and you should get an absolute price from them before booking. They will overcharge you! You will have to dispute it with your credit card company. This is not a good way to start a vacation!
