Can't remember the last time we had such an attentive waitress! Our waitress was Brittany, but we observed and heard other waitstaff treat their parties with the same attentiveness. Even if you didn't like the food, which was top rate, the waitstaff is worth the visit. Walker's in Cape Neddick could definitely use some guidance from this establishment!
Thank you for a very pleasant evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here! The building is beautiful and offers unique dishes presented beautifully. We had our kids with us and they were very accommodating, going out of their way to recommend activities in the local area. All were very friendly with free valet parking right on sight. We will be back again!

Well prepared drinks, menu offerings with a twist and emphasis on presentation. Limited dessert menu but quite satisfied with our selections.
A bonus, on site valet parking in busy downtown Portsmouth, a pleasant surprise.

Decided to go to Portsmouth on July 3rd to enjoy the pre 4th buzz, watch the fireworks in the evening and attend the annual new citizens swearing in at Strawberry Banke on the 4th. Made reservations for two at Mombo for the 3rd because of good reviews from friends and it's close to all events near the waterfront.

We were not disappointed.......we had reserved on Open Table and were met at the door by a smiling and attentive hostess who showed us to a quiet table for two with window and fireplace views. Service by Andrea was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient...but not rushed.

We enjoyed our martinis and shared a beet salad that was tasty, light and refreshing.
Tom, the owner,(I think that's his name!) came by to check on us and to chat for a bit. This was a nice touch and he asked more than the usual "how is everything here?"

Entrees of baked half chicken with interesting thinly sliced baked potato dish, and broiled pork chop over a bed of corn, pancetta, diced green and red peppers were both excellent. Glasses of a nice zinfandel added nicely to the tastes.
We were too full for dessert, but lingered to finish our wine and enjoy the pleasant buzz of others enjoying the evening.

We shall return!
