We stopped in for crepes and also left with a delicious baguette. Delightful service. She brought our crepes outside for us to enjoy at their tables. A few seats inside or out. Delicious looking pastries. A little tough to find -- down an alley way. Look for the Farm to Table sign. I didn't see a C'est la Vie sign. Would return.

i love crepes ! so when i saw the sign pointing to the alley in Depot Square, i followed it into a small, cozy creperie. lots of great sandwiches, and crepes...with a french twist and homemade, caring quality. did i say 'deserts'? too many to choose from. perhaps the best carrot cake in Peterborough... i have returned many times, and you will too. my favorite crepe is the ham and swiss with an egg. Mmmmm.

We wanted so much to love this darling small cafe. However, their signature crepes were a disappointment.
It wasn't so much because our savory crepes were not made with buckwheat, which has a wonderful flavor,
but there was a slice of cheese melted on top ( microwave) accompanied by a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette.
It was flavorful, and the fillings were generous, but it just didn't come together in the way that we expected. I guess we are more purists than we thought. Maybe they are catering to what Americans like?

This is a tiny little french take out place--mostly pastries and coffee. We found the food to be dry and unremarkable. The counter service was inexperienced and careless. Sorry. While I like to support local business, this one didn't make the grade.
