Spent 5 days at North Conway Grant hotel and I was disappointed. When we checked into our room is was not clean, the beds were made but you could tell the rugs had not been vacuumed, the bureau was sticky and dirty and the bathroom may have been cleaned but not to my expectations. Over the next 5 days all the maid did was make the beds and give a swipe at cleaning the bathroom. The air conditioner in the room sounded like a B52 Bomber but we had no choice we had to leave it on. The hotel advertised Arts, Crafts & Games for kids every night at 6 pm but it was a farce. All they did was put out some games, paper, scissors and crayons. A couple nights there was a young lady there but she did not speak or understand English very well and did not interact with the kids. The Ice Cream Social was a farce. You are handed a cup with a scoop of ice cream, offered hot fudge or hot caramel and directed to a table with Jimmies and M & M's. Total disappointed all around. The flavored water in the lobby was always empty, the free cookies ran out early on. Overall totally disappointed in the hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone, especially at the rate they charge.

A last minute weekend trip that was s disappointment. The front desk clerk at checkin was rude and argumentative. The room we were given was not what had been reserved. Needless to say the room was in pretty poor shape and the quarters very cramped. The bathroom was in need of significant repairs. The manager did move us the next afternoon. Alot of stress and inconvenience for 2 nights at a premium rate. Definitely not planning to stay there again.

First, the good. Impressive pool deck with two outdoor pools and one indoor but the main pool is a little small for the size of the hotel. Lots of tables with umbrellas. Ping-pong tables and an arcade game area. Impressive fire pit. Very friendly and effective staff. I needed to add a night and they made that easy. Solid service at the restaurant. And we needed some extra bedding. They made that happen fast. Comfortable sofa bed mattress, which is kind of rare. We had a junior suite and the room was spacious. Location is great, access to North-South Road, which is the superior way to get into downtown unless you like sitting in traffic.

But there were some minuses. The facility could use some updates. It looks aged. Bathroom kind of small. It was unseasonably hot while we were there and while our room was cool with A/C, everywhere else in the hotel was stuffy. The food at the restaurant was okay, not bad but not great.

We didn't have a bad experience by any means but on our next trip we will scout out other possibilities.

We stayed here for two nights. Room was very clean. The outdoor/indoor pool was also neat. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No real complaints here. Will stay here again! This hotel is also right onsite of the Settlers Green Outlets which is also a plus.

We stayed July 4th week for 3 nights
This was our 2nd time staying at this resort, last time 3 yrs ago in April
It was abnormally hot, 90+, so as expected outside pool was extremely crowded. The main pool is undersized for the resort and the toddler pool doesn't get used as much due to families choosing to take their little ones into main pool thus creating more crowding. The resort could have designed a better pool layout especially during hot busy times. Breakfast buffet was disappointing with no home fries, just store bought tater tots in the offering and couldn't tell pork vs chicken sausages.
We ate 2 dinners and the meals were good.
I chose this resort as they advertise kids activities, we have 12 & 10 yr old girls and there really wasn't anything for them to do for organized activities, basically pools and occasionally ping pong when available. We stayed at Red Jacket Fox last summer and their kids activities are so much better, poolside games in the afternoon and festive atmosphere vs Grand pool ambience is non existent and any organized activities don't start until 5pm even during busy holiday week? The rooms are fine we had 4th floor end of hallway so elevator traffic not an issue. Bathrooms are cramped and no fan in bathrooms which is not ideal for showers or family of 4 using bathrooms when everyone in room. No noise privacy buffer.
Our next visit will be back to red jacket for variety, the Grand is convenient to shopping that we took advantage of.
