We stayed at the Cranmore Inn for three nights in October. It was fabulous.
When we arrived, we were booked in by one of the owners, Eddie.
Eddie asked what we wanted to do during our stay, and gave us some very helpful information on how to plan our few days in the White Mountain National Park.
We were given a tour of the facilities before being shown our room.
Main facilities, there's a TV lounge with DVDs to watch, as well as your own TV in your room, The Hot Tub, available 24-7 (but please respect other guests by keeping the noise down at night), a Fire Pit, where you can sit outside at night with a glass of wine, ample space in the garden, and there's a Pool, but this was closed due to the time of year. Also inside, they have a spacious lounge where you can relax with a drink, and every afternoon, they put out some homemade cake for you to help yourself. There's also fruit, tea and coffee available as part of the package.
Adjacent to the lounge there are two fridges, and you are encouraged to buy a bottle of wine, beer, etc. and keep it chilled there to enjoy inside or outside. They also have a machine with chilled and boiling water on tap for you 24-7.If you are British, and over forty, you will probably remember Mr Benn, so you will understand when I say that if you needed anything, as if by magic, the Innkeeper appeared.
Christopher and Eddie were never in your face, but if you needed something, they were there to help.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Always with a smile too.
The room was spacious, and the double Shower was fab too.
Within an hour of arriving, we were sitting in the Lounge with a glass of wine each, and our iPads / Mobiles, catching up on the days news using the inclusive WiFi.
The Inn is a short walk from the main street, so is very convenient, but also away from any noise from the main road.
There is a good selection for breakfast that will suit most tastes, and made fresh to order.
North Conway is a great little town, with many interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also very handy for Mount Washington, and the many nature trails in this beautiful part of the country.
We hadn't been there a day, and were already planning to come back for longer.
Book now, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: We had Room 303, King Size Bed, view of the rear gardens, double Shower. Excellent

This was I thought a very nice B&B. Yes, there are newer and nicer but dollar for dollar they do a great job. The location is superb. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are friendly and breakfast was done well.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Cranmore Inn in early October. The room was spacious, clean and the breakfast each day was excellent. Eddie, Christopher and their staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided great dinner recommendations and ideas on what to see and do in the area. Unlike some innkeepers, they didn't disappear at night, they often chatted with guests to see how their day went. Each night after a day of leaf peeping, we relaxed around the fire with guests from Minnesota, Texas and Rhode Island -- glass of wine optional! We have stayed at many locations in the Mt Washington Valley including several in Jackson NH. The Cranmore Inn is our favorite by far, in fact at checkout, we booked our room for next year. We highly recommend that you plan a stay at the Cranmore Inn.

Room Tip: Room 200 is a two bedroom apartment with kitchen

This was one of the most delicious smelling hotels I’ve stayed in! It was a short, easy walk to local bars, shops and restaurants which were smallish and independent, whereas further down the road towards Conway and the Outlet stores, the hotels and businesses were larger, more corporate and we felt had less character.

The room wasn’t large (but had enough space for us) it was very clean and tidy and the bed was really comfy. A shared fridge and cold/hot water machine downstairs meant we didn’t need those facilities in the room, but could still get a drink any time we needed and were also able to keep a bottle of wine cold. There was an outside decked area with a fire pit for chilly evenings and two indoor lounges where everyone could relax and socialise if they liked.

Vouchers for discounts at local shops/restaurants and attractions were available at reception so don’t forget to ask!

Completely disappointed in this Inn. Stayed in same price Inns and B&Bs throughout our travels for the trip that far outweighed this stay.

1. Noisy and uncomfortable bed.
2. Housekeeping did not clean the bathroom.
3. Room was extremely tiny and felt dirty.

This Inn is a good location to town and may be better than motels in the area, but not worth the price for what you get.
