This is a very nice place to stay. The owner is very helpful, breakfast was not too heavy like many B&B's, and the room was quiet, clean and spacious. It is less than a 5-min walk from the Currier Museum of Art, which is well worth a visit. (If you sign up in advance you can tour the Frank Lloyd Wright house; Margit tried to get us a spot on the day of our visit but it was fully booked, mid-week.) It is really a house for adults, and maybe well-behaved children.

Thank you for staying with us and the wonderful feedback. We find that our cooked to order breakfasts are a wonderful way to start the day and there are always many options to suit many tastes. Maybe next time you travel up this way we can book the FLW Zimmerman house ahead of time for you so you can get to enjoy that as well. And thanks for the comment about children. Due to several reasons, we have a age restriction of 12 years old or older for children to stay at the Inn. Hope to see you up this way again.

We stayed at the Ash Street Inn after attending a concert in the area. Rob and Margit made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed with the things one would forget to bring. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying at the Ash Street Inn for quite simply you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.

Thanks for the feedback and the reminder that a B&B should include a breakfast. We hope if your travels bring you back this way we see you again.

We stayed a night here as we had driven up from RI to see a concert in Derry NH and did not want to drive back late at night after a couple of drinks. This is a wonderful inn. The rooms are clean and very well appointed. Robert and his wife make it so comfortable for the traveler by providing the little things you might forget to toss in your suitcase; toothpaste, advil, make up remover and the like. This is run more like a 5-star hotel then a small inn. On top of what I described, Robert cooked us a wonderful breakfast Sunday morning before we left, all included in the cost of the room.

My husband & I recently spent 3 nights and loved it. Owners are very friendly, accommodating (baked me gluten free muffins), and offered numerous suggestions for great, local restaurants and museums. Started our mornings sitting on the porch sipping percolated coffee & finished the day in the same spot sipping wine. Within easy walking distance to downtown & museums & nice drives to Portsmouth & Concord, NH. Will definitely return.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us (and I hope your percolator has arrived so you may continue to enjoy the "old school" coffee). Glad you got to see some other areas of NH as well as each city is unique. Thanks again. Rob and Margit

We stayed here on our way to Lake Placid and were so pleased we choose this spot. This is a beautiful home, appointments are superb ,and the inn keepers are wonderful. If there is something they didn't think of ,I am at a loss to note. The beautiful room, with working fireplace, was outfitted with so many thoughtful touches that we laughed when we found a miniature LED flashlight next to our lovely four poster bed. We had delicious omelettes, with a delightful conversation with the inn keepers before we shoved off. Most highly recommend.
