How blessed we were to have discovered Ash St. Inn! We live in CA, but travel to Manchester a couple times a year to visit my sister-in-law, a Carmelite nun now at Mt. Carmel nursing home just 2 blocks for the Inn. Margit and Robert are almost like extended family now. They are so welcoming and helpful and it's always so good to see them again. They have thought of every convenience to make your stay a treat. Always available Margit's fresh baked cookies, coffees and teas, fruit. Chef Robert's breakfasts are great. The house is a beautifully restored Victorian with lovely period furniture, and immaculately kept. Lovely rooms with great comfortable beds! It has also become a popular place to stay for business travelers, tired of impersonal hotels. And the location within walking distance of downtown restaurants and businesses. My husband and I have stayed at B&Bs around the world and this is by far the best ever! Thank you, Margit and Robert!

Room Tip: Any one is lovely!

Donna, Thank you for the wonderful words and I hope the trip home was not delayed by the unexpected Spring snow storm. We ended up getting about a foot of wet, heavy snow. We look forward to seeing you again next time.

We adored our stay at the Ash Street Inn. All of the little touches were amazing, from the stocked kitchen to the abundant beauty products. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Margit and Robert were so welcoming and helpful. We could not rank this inn more highly!

Hi Terri,

Margit and I are glad you enjoyed your stay. We sometimes forget about the history of the house, but are very proud to be connected to the mill industry of Manchester. If your travels bring you this way in the future, we hope to see you again. Rob & Margit

Spent one night at this lovely inn. Greeted by owner Margit and shown our lovely room, which was outfitted with virtually any need we might have. Very comfy bed, linens and towels. In addition to the typical toiletries there was tooth paste and lip balm! Fresh homemade cookies and a complete snack bar with sweet and salty snacks as well as a variety of coffees, teas, sodas and fresh fruit. Breakfast was cooked to order by Rob, the husband and co-owner, and trained ched. Delicious cinnamon vanilla french toast with New Hampshire maple syrup. Yogurt with freshly made granola. Had a very pleasant morning chat with both Margit and Rob. Very hospitable and friendly. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
