We booked last minute and from the first phone conversation were just charmed. They allowed us to check in early, offered great tips on nearby restaurants and activities. Not to mention our room was comfortable... and duck-themed! That said, our best meal and favorite part of our stay was dinner at Ariana's downstairs. Make sure to get a reservation and enjoy a cocktail too. We highly recommend The Lyme Inn as a New England getaway in of itself, but it was an especially nice spot to visit Dartmouth nearby. Can't wait to come back soon.

Room tip: Dining is incredible! Sit outside with a blanket and sip wine.

We stayed one night for a wedding. Our room was spacious, well appointed, very clean and comfortable. We had our 13 yr old son with us so we had a pull-out couch that was also comfortable. The Inn has a wonderful charm and we would absolutely stay here again. All staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious. Great coffee too! Thank you Lyme Inn for a terrific visit!

This was our second time staying at The Lyme Inn; we'd enjoyed ourselves so much the first time that we wanted to come back for this special occasion and do it again! Our pleasurable experience began with our telephone call to book our stay; the woman helping us was extremely pleasant & professional, and able to juggle the multiple demands on her at once! Check in was a piece of cake, our room was lovely, our dinner reservation at the recently added Ariana's Restaurant was in place and our meal there was delightful! A drink at the bar later that evening topped off the day - homemade limoncello, a friendly and very capable bartender and pleasant conversation with the restauranteur added to the long list of reasons we will surely return for another visit!

I’ve been to Lyme uncountable times in my life. My grandparents lived here for 60 years but somehow I never managed to make it to this amazing moment of “spring” they call Maple Sugaring. It’s truly a bucket list event. There are plenty of other activities but if you stay in this wonderful experience others have already reviewed....one more thing you should know is that it is ideally located to have the most uniquely romantic, new world cultural life experience. Oh...and besides your warm clothes, remember to leave plenty of room for the maple syrup you’ll absolutely want to bring home!!!

Returned to prepare my home for Mud season following the harsh winter of 2017-18!!! No water nor heat at home,so I returned to my Lyme Inn Watering Hole, My Cheers. The always welcoming service and friend Jack Elliot innskeeper, warm embrace from bartender, Ashley and manager Kate, pleasant smile from waiteress Kaitlin, and new Ariana's Chef Martin who takes great pride in preparing delicious mouthfuls. Thanks again to Maranda who firsr filled me in on all the excellent change for the betterment of the Lyme Inn. The room 35 was a spacious and warm New England beauty, large kingsize bed, every inch of the marbled bathroom was sparkling clean, and temperature control. Definitely coming back. Thank you Jack Elliot from friend, Lyme Inn member, out here in South California Stephen Mott. If you folks who have never been charmed by an authentic New Hampshire, New England, the Lyme Inn has it all, regardless of the season. Enjoy!!!!!
