Excellent homemade hard serve ice cream. Many flavors with add-ons available. So good we went back the next day.

We had a craving for sweets. Saw this place which advertised homemade ice cream. It called out to us and our vehicle pulled right into the parking lot. I had a dish of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. It was rich, cool, and smooth. Very good choice.

Usually stop here for an ice cream when we are in the area. Little shop inside a large house. Homemade ice cream made in the rear. Good but nothing special. Prices are a little high. Enjoy your treat on chairs or benches outside or sit inside. Little if any competition in the area so enjoy if you come here!

On a sweltering hot day end of July, when you need a place to cool down and unwind, step into the Victorian parlor of Bishops and order a Maple Walnut ice cream. Take as long as you want to eat it. Take a long drink of water from the fountain. Look outside at the waves of heat and humidity rising up from the road, then order another ice cream cone... You may never leave!
