We have stayed at the inn 5 times and this time we experienced poor service with breakfast. Not sure if it was because there were many large family groups but either way the Inn and staff should have been better managed. First we were a party of 8 and one high chair and they would let us all sit together and combine tables, they said they had 95 people staying at the inn and could combine. It didn't make sense because either way we were all sitting down at the same time. So we ordered our meal and not only did it take quite a bit of time 35-40 min, but the potatoes were burnt, dry and flavorless. My brother in laws French toast did not come with the strawberries, or the side of bacon he ordered. Nor did my sister in laws come with her side or my husband pancake. We had to ask our server to check on the sides and it was not until after we were done eating that the sides came out. My sister in laws gluten free pancake was under cooked, the batter was soft in the inside.
Also we stayed at the carriage house which is where we always stay, we noticed that the rooms needs some cosmetic touches done. The moldings look buckled and the wallpaper in some spots is peeling off from moisture.
The people at the inn are very nice none the less just not sure if they were not prepared for this weekend.
